From the moment I was two years old, my mom and I dove into art together. We tried everything—from bubble art and handprint designs to vibrant paintings—using all kinds of materials like shells, glitter, and paint. Some of our best creations happened right on the beach, where I’d collect shells between catching waves.

Even though she encouraged me to follow directions, my creativity had a mind of its own! I loved experimenting and coming up with my own ideas. Before long, she realized my designs had their own special spark—and that spark just kept growing.

In second grade, I was proud to earn 2nd place in the National PTA Reflections Visual Arts - Primary Division for the theme “Show Your Voice.”
